Ruellia simplex also known as Mexican Petunia is a beautiful shrub that is tolerant of drought once it has officially established its roots. They require full sunlight to bloom their purple trumpet shaped flowers and their leaves veiny patters on the underside of them.
They are a favourite pick in horticulture landscape because of its distinct flower colour as well as how simple it is to grow.

Water: Water when the soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
