Platycerium alcicorne is a tropical plant that prefers to stay damp, but not wet. If kept too wet Staghorn ferns will deteriorate and die. Despite popular belief, it likes the sun, just not direct hot sunlight. The brighter the light the faster the plant grows. Extremely lovely when it gets to adult size.
Sunlight: Partial or filtered light
Water: 2-3 times a week
Fertilizer: Recommends slow release nitrocote fertilizer or organic lactobacilusAquis fertilizer. Sometimes, you may feed with banana peels.
Rootball/Pot: Dia 15cm x H 12cm pot
Plant size: around 40cm
Plant will be sold in a hanging pot with drainage.
