Heliconia illustris rubra is a species of flowering plant in the Heliconiaceae family. Native to Central and South America they are known for their striking red flowers.
The plant is a popular ornamental in tropical gardens and is often used in landscaping and as a cut flower in arrangements.

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
