Caesalpinia pulcherrima, also known as the Peacock flower is the most widely cultivated species in the genus Caesalpinia. It is a striking ornamental plant, widely grown in domestic and public gardens. It is a species of flowering plant in the pea family.

Water: Water when soil is almost dry to the touch. Avoid over-watering to prevent waterlogging.
Fertiliser: Keep plant in top form by feeding the plants every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser.
