TIPS

Soil for Dendrobium sp. Dwarf

Dendrobium sp. Dwarf should be planted in charcoal only as the roots require excellent drainage and structure to grip onto. Allow the roots to grip onto the charcoal before transferring the entire plant and root ball into another pot. Do not replace original charcoal, simply pour more charcoal around the root ball to fill the pot.

Light Requirements

All plants depend on light for their survival, and making sure your Dendrobium sp. Dwarf plants get the right amount of light is key to keeping them happy. For both indoor and outdoor containers, group plants with similar light requirements. Don't mix shade lovers with sun lovers in a single pot; one or both of them will be unhappy, depending on where you place the pot.
