Divided leaves of the Philodendron Mayoii make them easily recognisable.

Philodendrons have air-purifying abilities, which explains why many are grown indoors as house plants! Philodendrons come in two types, vining and non-climbing. Vining plants can grow tall with the proper support and environment, while the non-climbers grow upright and exhibit beautiful foliage. Above all, Philodendrons are fast growers as well.

Sunlight: Place your Philodendron Mayoii under bright, indirect sunlight and avoid direct sunlight, which will cause its leave to turn yellow. Too much exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures will cause the plant to dry up, leaves to turn yellow and wilt.

Water: Allow the top surface of the soil to dry up between watering the plant. We recommend watering it once a week or whenever necessary. Overwatering your Philodendron can cause water beds, resulting in root problems. Droopy leaves are a good sign of overwatering. Therefore you should skip a week of watering

Fertiliser: Fertilise your plant with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength once a month.

Plant size: Approx. 60cm (vary in sizes)

Rootball Size: ø27cm x 22cmH

Pot type: The plant comes in a landscape pot with drainage holes.

All parts of the P. mayoi plant are toxic to dogs, cats, and humans. Because its sap has sharp, needle-like crystals, which will cause severe oral irritation and a burning sensation. Also, the patient’s lips, tongue, or mouth may swell and turn red. More signs include loss of appetite, swallowing difficulties, drooling, etc. Kindly keep this plant out of reach of children and your pets.
