Heliconia psittacorum 'Lady Di', also known as the parakeet flower or Lady Di heliconia, is a tropical plant native to Central and South America. It is a member of the heliconia family, which also includes the lobster claw flower and the false bird-of-paradise. It has long, banana-like leaves and bright red bracts that surround small, yellow flowers. The flowers bloom in the spring and summer.

This plant is relatively easy to care for. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It should be watered regularly, but not too much, as overwatering can cause root rot. The plant should be fertilized every few months during the growing season.
