Gardenia Jasminoides, is a flowering plant that produces heavily fragrant flowers over a long period of the year. The fragrant flowers often are used for scenting tea, pickled or preserved in honey.
Sunlight: Full Sun to Bright indirect sun. Gardenias grow best with morning sun and afternoon shade.
Water: Keep soil moist and well-drained. Keep the soil consistently damp but not soggy. Don't let the soil dry out and do not over-water or under-water your Gardenias or the flower buds will not open and may even drop off.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
