Zamia fischeri is one of the rare and endangered species and rarely available at nurseries. It forms a thin paperish leaflets with a subterranean trunk. It has a slow growth habit and does well in good potting soil as long as the container has excellent drainage.

Water: Water once per week throughly and deeply.
Fertiliser: Keep plant in top form by feeding the plants every twice a year with a dilute solution of liquid fertilizer or solid fertilizer.
