The Pink Quill plant is a Bromeliad which is desirable because of the exotic and tropical looking flowering bract that it produces. The bracts lasts up to 3 months which adds interest to a room. Nearing the end of its cycle, it will produce several "pups" or offsets around its base - growing to become the next generation.
Sunlight: Bright Indirect Sunlight or Partial Sunlight.
Prefers bright indirect sunlight for good growth - avoid exposing to full sun. Able to grow under fluorescent light
Water: Place in a high humidity location. Finely mist the foliage once or twice a week and water fully every month before drying fully. Brown tips shows possible under-watering or the surrounding humidity is too low.
Fertiliser: Fertilise by misting once per month with a bromeliad or orchid fertilizer diluted in water or with a fish emulsion mix.
