Tibouchina urvilleana is an evergreen shrub or small tree with large purple flowers and soft hairy leaves. It is native to Brazil but has been introduced and naturalized into a number of countries around the world as it is a very popular landscape plant.
Note: (Stages of Flower Blooming)The stem grows longer towards the sun and transports water and food between the roots and leaves. Some plants flower within days while it takes others months or even years.
