Fargesia jiuzhaigou, better known as Red Bamboo Plant or Red Dragon Bamboo, is strong, durable and cold hardy. Its elegant, ornamental features make it a great addition to any bamboo garden. Initially green, the culms transform to a reddish-purple hue and lighten to pale orange as they age.
Sunlight: Partial to full Sunlight.
Water: Water when the top two inches of the soil becomes dry.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
