The leaves and stems of the Philodendron Black Cardinal have a dark burgundy almost black color.
This one is for you if you like dark houseplants!
When the leaves on Philodendron Black Cardinal mature, they will turn black and can grow to be fairly large. The leaves first seem bright orange or bronze.
Sunlight: Bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, which will cause its leave to turn yellow. Too much exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures will cause the plant to dry up, leaves to turn yellow and wilt.
Water: Allow the top surface of the soil to dry up between watering the plant. We recommend watering it once a week or whenever necessary. Overwatering your Philodendron can cause water beds, resulting in root problems. Droopy leaves are a good sign of overwatering. Therefore you should skip a week of watering.
Fertiliser: Keep plant in top form by feeding the plants once a month with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
