Pandanus pygmaeus, Small Screwpine (0.6m)


The Small Screwpine or Pygmy Pandan is so named as it is one of the smallest pandan around. It is endemic to Madagascar, and found in freshwater wetlands, rock faces and near forested sites.


Sunlight: Grows best in bright full sun. 

Water: Hardy species, somewhat drought-tolerant when established, though prefers regular watering. Do not overwater until soil becomes soggy to prevent root rot. 

Fertiliser: Apply any organic fertilizer to promote healthier foliage.

Plant Size: Approx. 60cm (vary in sizes)
