Ocimum basilicum 'Pourpre', commonly known as the purple basil is a variety of basil with purple leaves with a slightly hot taste. It is a sun-loving plant so you can place it at a spot that’s sunny, but not too parched. It’s important that the soil is continuously moist and well-enriched.
Sunlight: Full sun, Semi-shade
Water: Requires moderate water. Water when soil is dry to the touch.
Fertiliser: Fertilise every two weeks with a teaspoon
