Nepenthes is a genus of carnivorous plants, also known as tropical pitcher plants, or monkey cups. It can grow spectacularly on sunny windowsills. Sun is the key element in getting your plant to grow pitchers. The energy provided by photosynthesis is what grows the traps, and the light from the sun is essential to producing good color.
Sunlight: Bright filtered light
Water: Water 1 - 2 times a week since sphagnum moss is used as the potting media.
Fertiliser: Recommends slow-release nitrocote or organic lactobacillus Aquis fertilizer.
