The Cockscomb is a herbaceous shrub of 1m maximum height. It produces showy flowers that are velvety, resembling a brain or a cock's comb, thus its common name the "Cockscomb". Cockscomb flowers can be dried and used in floral arrangements.

Water: Allow the top two inches of the soil to dry before watering. Ensure that the soil is thoroughly moist.
Fertiliser: Fertilise your Cockscomb with liquid fertiliser once a month. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when fertilising.
