Alpinia Zerumbet variegated, Shell Ginger (0.8m)


Alpinia zerumbet is a tender herbaceous perennial in the ginger family (Zingiberaceae) grown throughout the world for its attractive flowers and foliage. The leaves vary considerably in the amount of variegation, with some mostly green streaked with creamy yellow or gold, whereas others are primarily yellow with some green stripes.

Sunlight: full sun to part shade, it will do best in partial sunlight.

Water: 2-3 times a week

Fertiliser: Recommends slow-release nitrocote or organic Lactobacillus Aquis fertilizer.
