Alocasia lauterbachiana has long, spear-shaped, and glossy dark-green to purple leaves with scalloped edges. The plant is adaptable to both indoor and outdoor environments.

Water: Allow the surface of the soil to dry up to touch between waterings. It enjoys humidity so the occasional misting also works well.
Fertiliser: Feed it with a balanced liquid fertilizer during its growing season. Although the Alocasia may be a heavy eater, feed it moderately.
