TIPS

Soil for Succulents

Succulents should be grown in cactus & succulent soil mix. Make or buy a cactus & succulent pre-mix that include sand, perlite, expanded clay and other ingredients. A suitable soil for cacti needs to provide good drainage (not be water logged), hold moisture, and give roots room to grow.

Light Requirements

All plants depend on light for their survival, thus making sure your cacti get the right amount of light is key to keeping them happy. In a container pot, group your cacti with other plants of similar light requirements. Don't mix shade lovers with sun lovers in a single pot; one or both of them will be unhappy, depending on where you place the pot.
