Melissa officinal is commonly known as lemon balm, balm, common balm, or balm mint. It is a plant used as an herbal supplement. In foods and beverages, the extract and oil of lemon balm are used for flavoring foods, some traditional medicines and herbal tea (both hot and iced).

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling soild fertiliser over the soil.
